Commercial & Industrial Electrician

Winberry is supporting a growing electrical contractor looking to build a strong team of Commercial & Industrial Electricians over the next six months.

We're looking for experienced electricians who take pride in delivering high-quality electrical installations, with testing and commissioning experience a strong advantage.

The work will cover a range of commercial and industrial projects across Newport and the surrounding areas, working alongside experienced site teams to deliver installations safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

This is a great opportunity for electricians looking for consistent contract work with a growing contractor and a strong pipeline of projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Commercial and industrial electrical installations

* First and second fix installation

* Containment including tray, basket, trunking and conduit

* Cable installation and termination

* Distribution board and equipment installation

* Testing and inspection of completed installations

* Fault finding and remedial works

* Supporting commissioning and handover

* Working from drawings and specifications

* Maintaining high standards of workmanship and health & safety

What We're Looking For

* Qualified Electrician with strong commercial or industrial experience

* Proven installation background

* Experience with containment, cabling and terminations

* Testing and inspection experience preferred

* 2391 or equivalent testing qualification advantageous

* ECS/JIB card preferred

* Able to read electrical drawings

* Strong attention to detail and quality of workmanship

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Based in or able to reliably travel to Newport and surrounding areas
