Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide quality in‑home care services to our clients in Ecorse, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to promote their independence and improve their quality of life.

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help clients with mobility and transfers safely.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, meal preparation, and cleaning.
• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to healthcare professionals or supervisors.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate records of care provided.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.

• Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus.
• Ability to provide physical assistance and perform household tasks.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient approach to caregiving.
• Must be able to pass background checks and comply with all regulatory requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

• Competitive hourly wage: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour, paid twice a month.
