Qualifications:

• Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for the state of Michigan
• Experience or willingness to work with K-12 caseloads, tailoring strategies to a variety of communication needs
• Comfortable working onsite this role does not offer a virtual/remote option
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Previous school-based experience preferred but not required

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students across kindergarten through 12th grade
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with students' educational goals
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student progress and advocate for student needs
• Maintain up-to-date documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in school-based speech-language pathology
