Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Risk Manager/Analyst

To reinforce our HQ based in Ecublens we are currently looking to hire one person for the role of: ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) & Compliance Manager
MISSIONDefine and lead the company’s sustainability and compliance strategy, ensuring responsible operations and adherence to global regulations. Integrate ESG into business practices, oversee compliance and due diligence, ensure accurate ESG reporting, and foster a culture of integrity, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and Implement the Group ESG Strategy
- Define and drive the Group ESG roadmap aligned with business objectives and sustainability standards.
- Integrate ESG requirements into the Integrated Management System.
- Ensure consistent deployment across sites and monitor progress through continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead ESG Reporting and Performance Management
- Establish ESG reporting frameworks, KPIs, and data governance processes. Consolidate and validate ESG data across sites.
- Prepare sustainability reports, customer disclosures, and ESG performance communications.
Ensure Global Regulatory Compliance
- Monitor compliance with environmental, social, governance, ethics, and human rights regulations worldwide.
- Track regulatory developments and ensure organizational readiness.
- Support due diligence activities, compliance assessments, and transparency initiatives
Foster an ESG and Compliance Culture
- Deliver awareness and training programs on sustainability, ethics, and compliance.
- Assess ESG-related risks and support mitigation plans.
- Contribute to policies covering anti-bribery, Code of Conduct, whistleblowing, and third-party compliance.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to embed ESG into daily operations and respond to customer sustainability requirements.
Support Risk Management and Governance Processes
- Maintain governance processes, accountability mechanisms, and management reviews.
- Coordinate risk management and escalation processes with Legal and key stakeholders.
- Monitor action plans and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
Lead Cross-Functional ESG Projects & Team Development
- Manage strategic ESG and compliance projects across the organization.
- Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, Compliance, EHS, and IT to ensure effective implementation.
- Lead, develop, and coach the ESG team, fostering versatility, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Act as a role model for integrity, accountability, and sustainable leadership.
- University degree in Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Significant experience in ESG, sustainability, compliance, governance, risk management, or related functions within an international environment, in an manufacturing field.
- Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional projects and onboarding stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience in a multi-site manufacturing or industrial environment is a strong advantage.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
