Salary Range: $71,000 - $88,000

The base salary listed is a range. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others). In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a bonus, providing the opportunity to earn additional compensation.

The Staff Accountant role is a key position within the finance organization at Zinpro and reports to the Corporate Accounting Manager. This position is accountable for timely and accurate preparation and review of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. The successful candidate is an experienced accountant that is an energetic, self-starter with a solid work ethic, and a growth mindset.

Essential

Functions
  • Prepare and post journal entries to general ledger with supporting documentation.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
  • Review journal entries and reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Prepare monthly variance analysis and draft related commentary.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for finance system, maintain data, lead testing, and user support.
  • Complete monthly forecasting/budget process for assigned scope.
  • Assist with external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Identify and suggest improvements to accounting processes and procedures.
  • Handle ad hoc duties and projects as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 3+ years of previous accounting experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
Preferred
  • CPA or in the process of obtaining a CPA
  • Experience with SAP, Blackline, and Esker systems.
Work Environment and

Physical Requirements

The work environment characteristics are those consistent with a standard office environment. Positions in this class typically require typing, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.

Sedentary Work:
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Schedule Requirements

This position is expected to work within core business hours and occasionally requires participation in after‑hours work with domestic and international stakeholders. This position is hybrid and on‑site 3 days per week – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Travel Requirements

This position will work primarily at Zinpro Corporate Headquarters.
