We’re looking for a Vehicle Operations Coordinator who likes staying active, keeping things organized, and being part of a team. You’ll play an important behind-the-scenes role in keeping our vehicle inventory moving, organized, and ready for our customers and sales team.

You’ll help keep Metropolitan Ford’s vehicle operations running smoothly from the moment a vehicle arrives on our lot through the moment it’s ready for delivery to a customer.

Support the sales team with the preparation and delivery of sold vehicles

Receive and stock newly arriving vehicles

Organize, park, stage, and move vehicles throughout the dealership lot

Coordinate vehicles going to the appropriate service center for safety inspections

Help ensure vehicles are priced, stickered, inspected, and ready for sale

Verify required vehicle inspection reports are completed and available

Assist with vehicle cleaning, detailing, fueling, and overall readiness

Coordinate and complete dealer trades throughout the Twin Cities metro area

Support vehicle inventory tracking and data entry within the dealership management system (DMS)

Utilize dealership tools including Tru Video and Estimate Tool

Monitor and maintain Key Track reporting and vehicle key organization

Partner with the Inventory Manager on day-to-day inventory needs and special projects

Help maintain a clean, organized, safe, and professional dealership lot

Follow all dealership safety requirements, including required safety eyewear and appropriate hard-toed, slip-resistant footwear when working in service areas

Take on additional projects and responsibilities as needed to support the team

You don’t need years of automotive experience to make an impact here. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, organized, motivated, and ready to contribute.

Must be at least 18 years of age

Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Comfortable driving and maneuvering a variety of vehicles

Ability and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Strong organization and time-management skills

Attention to detail and ability to keep multiple priorities moving

A positive attitude and willingness to jump in where needed

A team-first mindset and dependable work ethic
