Job Title: Senior Conversational AI Designer

Location: Remote (U.S.) | Eden Prairie, MN team

Employment Type: Contract (W2 through Zip Staff - No C2C or 1099)

Zip Staff is seeking a Senior Conversational AI Designer to design complex chat and voice experiences for a major healthcare organization.

You will own conversation design for chat and voice - flows, logic, voice/tone, and LLM / bot-platform work - and must show a digital portfolio of relevant AI or conversational projects. Generic UX designers without conversation-design depth will not be a fit.

• Design highly complex chat and voice conversational experiences.
• Design conversational AI solutions using LLMs, bot platforms, and prompt-engineering practices.
• Craft conversation flows and logic that match product strategy and voice, tone, and brand standards.
• Partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to turn insights into conversational solutions.
• Own problem-solving and design decisions through delivery.
• Produce and maintain design artifacts suitable for build and iteration.

• 4+ years hands-on designing complex chat and voice conversational experiences.
• 1+ year hands-on designing conversational AI solutions.
• Proven knowledge of LLMs, bot platforms, and prompt-engineering best practices.
• Ability to design conversations and logic that follow strategy plus voice/tone/brand standards.
• Demonstrated partnership with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
• Strong ownership, problem-solving, and decision-making.
• Digital portfolio or work samples of relevant AI / conversational projects (required).
• Ability to work remote aligned to the Eden Prairie, MN team.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

• Healthcare, payer, or regulated-industry conversational experiences.
• Multi-channel (chat + voice) programs at enterprise scale.
