The Eden Prairie School District is seeking an Associate Principal of Student Activities to lead a comprehensive student activities and athletics program serving approximately 3,000 students. This role partners closely with the principal and administrative team to coordinate, improve, and oversee student activities, athletics, and co‑curricular programs that enhance engagement, belonging, and the overall school experience.
Position Requirements- Current Minnesota Principal License, or ability to obtain.
- Minimum of 3 years of successful teaching experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of educational leadership experience.
- Experience in activities/athletics administration preferred.
- Experienced leader capable of guiding staff in an inclusive environment.
- Knowledge of current issues in activities & sports management, facilities, and budgeting.
- Experience in curriculum, instruction, and continuous improvement.
- Experience in personnel development and evaluation.
- Advanced coursework in principalship‑related areas.
- Knowledge of current school management issues.
- Excellent communicator and systems thinker with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work within an administrative team framework.
- Commitment to high academic standards for all students.
- Technological expertise supporting systems that improve school‑wide data and process improvement.

Salaryand Benefit Package*
Salary: $166,030 – $169,330 depending on experience and education level. These numbers are also based on the 2025‑2026 contract.
Vacation: 28 vacation days per year.
Holidays: 12 paid holidays per year.
Life Insurance:
Life insurance fully paid by the employer for an amount equal to twice the employee's annual salary.
Long Term Disability Insurance:
Long term disability fully paid by the employer.
Medical/Hospitalization:
Medical/hospitalization plans available per the principal agreement.
Dental Insurance:
Available per the principal agreement.
Absent Days: 14 days per year cumulative to 280 days.
Tuition Reimbursement: 50% tuition for up to 3 credits per academic session for pre‑approved coursework.
