The following Summer position is available in the Eden Prairie School District. Internal and external candidates will be considered.

Summer Targeted Services Teacher - Elementary

Eden Lake Elementary

June 15, 2026 - August 6, 2026 (Targeted Services begins on June 22, 2026, but teachers will begin one week prior for prep and planning)

$45.00 per hour

We are seeking dedicated Targeted Services Teachers to support students who are not meeting grade‑level standards and expectations in math, reading, and socio‑emotional skills. This summer program is designed to provide targeted intervention and academic support to help students build confidence and find success. Targeted Services Teachers will teach grade‑level, standards‑based reading, math, and social‑emotional interventions in a classroom setting. All lesson plans must be created by the instructor and designed to meet the individual needs of each student's Continual Learning Plan (CLP).

There is also a data reporting component with each TS section.

• Provide targeted instruction in math, reading, and socio‑emotional skills.
• Develop engaging and effective lesson plans tailored to student needs.
• Track student progress and adjust instruction as necessary.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and program staff to ensure student success.

• Required: A valid teaching license.
• Preferred: Licensure in Elementary Education, Special Education ABS, or K-12 Reading.
• Other licensure areas may be considered; however, applicants must be willing to apply for an Out-of-Field Permission with PELSB if necessary.
