Special Education Teachers Full-Time Contract | St. Paul, MN
A school district in St. Paul, MN, is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to support students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the educational experiences of students requiring specialized instruction.
Location:
St. Paul, Minnesota
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized special education instruction tailored to students' unique needs
- Manage a caseload of approximately 8 students, providing targeted support and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota teaching license in Special Education
- Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching special education
- Ability to work effectively at one or more levels:
Elementary, Middle School, or High School - Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to student-centered learning and collaboration
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Monday through Friday
