• Support the educational experiences in the classroom as directed by the classroom teacher
• Assist in the completion of documenting daily activities, and incident/behavior reports as directed by the classroom teacher
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with the classroom teacher to support daily routines, classroom management, and the overall learning environment
• Assist the classroom teacher in maintaining a safe, clean, organized classroom and assume the responsibility to complete the duties required to maintain an orderly facility
• Assist in prepping learning materials as directed by the classroom teacher
• Approach behavioral issues that arise with children with Christ-centered love, respect and patience
• At drop off or pick up foster positive relationships with parents
• Facilitate the classroom routines and activities when the classroom teacher is absent
• Attend all required training and staff meetings throughout the year
• Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is an essential requirement of this position
• Maintains licensing compliance
• Other duties as assigned

• Educational requirements:
  
  High School Diploma required
• Experience required:
  Must meet licensing requirements for an assistant
• Has a commitment to prayer, as evidenced in both corporate and personal prayer
• Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as evidenced by the manifestation of the fruit of the Holy Spirit
• Exhibits a lifestyle appropriate to a person in public Christian ministry by conducting life with the utmost integrity in all situations
