Summer Targeted Services Paraprofessional
Location:
Cedar Ridge Elementary
Classification: MSEA Level II
Rate of Pay: $21.11/hour
Hours per Day: 3.5
Start & Ending Time: 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Working Days per Year: 24
Program Dates:
- Session 1:
June 22nd
- July 9th - Session 2:
July 20th
- August 6th
Qualifications Desired:
- Two year degree or higher or 60 credits toward a degree
- Strong reading, writing and math skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and parents
- Ability to problem solve, be sensitive to the needs of academically challenged students
- Ability to supervise children in a positive manner
- Knowledge of discipline policies & procedures
- Ability to follow the teacher's plan & direction; monitor situation in the classroom & adjust accordingly
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience working with children
