KeyQualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum age of 18
- Willingness to complete a TB test (in accordance with district guidelines)
- Capacity to stand, walk, and occasionally assist with lifting
- Current or obtainable clearances required for school employment
- Previous work in schools, child care, special education, or behavioral health
- Experience assisting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT practices (a plus, but not mandatory)
- Demonstrated reliability, patience, and collaborative spirit
- Provide 1:1 or small-group academic, behavioral, and social support
- Assist students with daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions
- Implement teacher-directed strategies and behavior plans, including IEP adherence
- Support supervision, mobility, and personal care as needed
- Help maintain a respectful and inclusive classroom environment
