We are currently seeking an exceptional Temporary Bilingual Grade 6 Social Studies teacher for the school year at Central Middle School. This one-year course will teach students in a Spanish immersion classroom. The teacher must be fluent (speaking, reading, writing) in Spanish.
Key Responsibilities- Teach students as part of a Spanish immersion classroom.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in the educational field.
- Fluent speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish.
- Applicants who will hold the following credentials by August 31, 2026 are welcome to apply. We will work with applicants whose license is in process.
- Minnesota Teacher License:
Social Studies (6-8) or Elementary Education (K-6).
- Starting salary for 1.0 FTE BA: $53,023 and MA: $64,910; licensed teaching experience considered for higher placement (prorated based on FTE).
- Up to 12 sick days and up to 2 personal days of leave given yearly.
- Health Insurance – Medical premiums covered by district up to $756 for individual plans and up to $1,315 per month toward family plans; dental premiums fully covered; district contributions to VEBA/HRA accounts for select medical plans; fully paid life insurance and long-term disability premiums;
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for pre-tax medical and dependent care. - Retirement – 403(b) with district match of up to 2.25% of annual salary; district contribution of 9.81% to Minnesota Teacher Retirement Association (TRA).
