• Valid State of Minnesota Teaching License in American Sign Language (K-12)
• Experience working with school-aged students preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to support diverse learning needs and educational environments
• Knowledge of deaf and hard-of-hearing educational practices
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively alongside educators, families, and support staff

• Provide American Sign Language instruction and support to students in accordance with district and state standards
• Adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, special education teams, and related service providers
• Support language development, communication access, and student engagement
• Maintain accurate documentation and student records
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and educational planning activities
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students
