Eden Prairie Schools is currently seeking applicants for the position of Preschool Paraprofessional. The Special Education Paraprofessional will assist with the special needs student with mobility, self-care, communication, and social interaction needs to maximize participation in classroom activities.

Hours per Day: 2.5
Start & Ending Time:
Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Working Days per Year: 178
Paid Holidays: 6
Qualifications Desired:
- Two years of post-secondary education in:
Child Development, Education, or a related field. - One year successful experience working with preschool children in a childcare or education setting.
- Ability to work with 2-5 year old children.
- Personal dependability and initiative.
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan and oversee appropriate activities for children.
- First Aid and CPR Certification.
Testing
Required:
- All job offers from Eden Prairie Schools are conditioned upon passing a pre-employment criminal background check and ISD 272 School Board approval.
- Offers for these positions will also be conditioned upon passing a pre-employment physical abilities test.
