Sr Test Engineer - Ops

Job Summary

Starkey is hiring a Sr. Test Engineer I in its global headquarters in Eden Prairie, MN. The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of experience in test engineering or automated test development. The candidate should be proficient in test systems architecture and integration.

• Design, develop, and implement automated test systems for NPI and production environments.
• Integrate hardware and software components into robust test solutions.
• Collaborate with design engineering teams to define test requirements and strategies.
• Develop and maintain test programs using LabVIEW and Test Stand.
• Support NPI builds by ensuring test coverage and troubleshooting test-related issues.
• Analyze test data to identify opportunities for process improvement and yield enhancement.
• Optimise existing production test systems for efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Provide technical support and training to manufacturing and test technicians.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

• Achieve quality, technology, schedule, and cost goals.
• Ensure test development activities and deliverables comply with the Starkey Quality Management System.
• Develop innovative, reusable, and sustainable test methods, hardware, and software.

• 5+ years of experience in test engineering or automated test development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in test system architecture and integration.
• Experience with LabVIEW and Test Stand preferred.
• Strong understanding of electronics, instrumentation, and measurement techniques.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

The target rate for this position is between $93,940 and $120,750 per year, subject to factors such as geography, skills, education, experience and other qualifications.
