Bridge Design Engineer – Minneapolis Metro Area

A well-established civil engineering firm in the Minneapolis, MN metro area is seeking a talented Bridge Design Engineer to join their small, collaborative team. This is a full-time opportunity focused on concept-to-fabrication bridge design projects. Responsibilities:

• Design of cast-in-place and precast bridges
• Development of concept through fabrication drawings using AutoCAD
• Bridge condition and safety inspections
• Collaboration with inspection and construction teams

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 2–8 years of experience in bridge design
• EIT or PE certification
• Proficiency in:
  • AutoCAD
  • MathCAD
  • RISA3D
  • AASHTOWare BrR
• Reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, steel, and timber structures
• Prefabricated steel truss systems
• Bridge inspection and safety evaluations
