Senior Tax Associate - Hybrid - Eden Prairie, MN

Senior Tax Associate will be involved in all aspects of federal and state tax filings and tax provision. Responsibilities include preparing quarterly and annual income tax provisions; preparing and filing federal and state income tax returns and quarterly estimates; assisting with M&A and related projects; providing research support for the analysis of proposed and existing tax laws, regulations, and rulings; assisting with tax audits and notices;

and preparing and reviewing income tax accounting necessary for the organization’s federal (SEC) and state filings.

Hybrid: 4 days in office per week and 1 day remote.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1+ years of tax or accounting experience in a public accounting firm or equivalent experience in a large corporate tax department
• Solid computer literacy including intermediate proficiency with MS Excel
• Proven ability to prioritize assignments and manage workload within statutory and internal deadlines

• One Source or equivalent income tax compliance software experience
• ASC 740 (Income tax accounting) experience
• SSAP 101 (Insurance tax accounting) experience
• Proven ability to use pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise
• Proven excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills

Salary ranges from $60,200 to $107,400 annually based on full-time employment. In addition to your salary, benefits include a comprehensive package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution (subject to eligibility requirements).
