Corporate Development Senior Associate (M&A)

At United Health Group, our Corporate Development team leads highly strategic acquisitions and investments that directly shape the future of healthcare. As a Senior Associate, you’ll play a key role in evaluating and executing transactions while working closely with executive leadership across the enterprise.

What You’ll Do
  • Evaluate acquisition targets and synthesize key insights into clear, executive-level recommendations
  • Build and review financial models, including DCF, trading & transaction comps, LBO, and EPS accretion/dilution analysis
  • Lead financial due diligence efforts, partnering with cross-functional teams to assess risks and validate investment theses
  • Support end-to-end deal execution across a range of strategic transactions and investments
  • Conduct market and industry research to identify trends, growth opportunities, and potential targets across healthcare

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or transaction advisory
  • Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
  • Experience supporting or leading financial due diligence

Preferred:

  • MBA or CPA
  • Experience communicating with executive stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Track record of taking initiative and accelerating learning in new areas

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $200,000 annually based on full-time employment.
