Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare facility in Eden Prairie, MN, is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist with a Neuro focus for an 8-hour day/evening shift, working 40 hours per week on a contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for a surgical technologist who is skilled in Neuro procedures and comfortable floating within the OR as needed.

Qualifications / Desired

Experience:

• Minimum 2+ years recent experience in Neuro surgical technology, including Neuro call coverage
• Expertise in orthopedic cases including totals and ortho trauma
• Experience with peripheral vascular, total joint support, and cardiovascular cases preferred
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records and DaVinci surgical systems
• Active NBSTSA or NCCT certification at time of application submission
• Ability to float to different OR areas as needed
• Availability for weekend and holiday shifts as required
• No acceptance of new graduates for this role

Schedule /

Hours:

• 8-hour shifts, days or evenings
• Start times vary: 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, or 3:00 PM
• 40 hours per week total
• Minimal return-to-office days required (no more than 7 days)

Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative support during Neuro and orthopedic procedures, including trauma and vascular cases
• Maintain compliance with surgical protocols and safety guidelines
• Collaborate with surgical teams and adapt to floating assignments within the OR
• Utilize Epic and DaVinci systems effectively for surgical documentation and support
