Starkey is hiring for a Compensation Analyst to join our Human Resources team at our corporate headquarters in Eden Prairie, MN. Job Responsibilities /Results
  • Serve as an internal resource to HR on compensation matters
    • Provide HR Business Partners with the data and decision support necessary for them to give counsel to the business on compensation‑related matters.
    • Help interpret policy, analyze and interpret data, solve problems and respond to requests, considering external benchmark data, internal benchmark data, and the strategic importance of the job(s).
    • Serve as a compensation resource to Payroll, HR, and Talent Management.
  • Maintain documentation, communicate policies and educate on compensation processes
    • Ensure that the proper process documentation is available to managers and employees regarding compensation related matters.
    • Provide communication and training efforts related to compensation policy and processes to HR and Managers.
  • Create and maintain job titles, job codes, job families, job descriptions, and pay structures/bands in corresponding systems.
  • Manage survey submission process
    • Complete survey submissions and gather data from global partners for submissions on an annual basis.
    • Complete various surveys related to compensation practices throughout the year.
    • Manage Market Pay system, which is used to market‑price jobs, administer salary survey submissions and results, and conduct pay analyses on internal jobs.
  • Identify opportunities for compensation program improvements, discuss solutions with Total Rewards Leaders, and help implement changes.
  • Perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements

Minimum Education , Certification and Experience Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in Compensation, Business, Accounting or related field required.
    • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) designation preferred.
  • Experience
    • 2+ years of experience in compensation analysis.
Knowledge / Technical Requirements
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excel experience required.
  • Experience with market‑pricing tools, such as Market Pay.
  • Experience with completing salary survey submission process.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $64,680 - $88,200 / year. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

The following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements, include medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan with company match, company‑paid life and short‑term disability insurance, long‑term disability insurance, employee assistance plan, hearing aid benefits, Paid Time Off, paid holidays, paid floating holidays, paid volunteer service day, paid paternity and maternity leave and tuition reimbursement. This position is eligible for a bonus based upon performance results.
