Contract: 5 months, with potential for extension or conversion
Rate: $80.56-$89.10/hour W2 depending on experience
OverviewWe are seeking a contract Architect / Software Developer on contract to bring our hospitality technology solution to life. You’ll work cross-functionally to design and deliver integrated solution architecture that is repeatable and scalable, quick to deliver, and delights users.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with product and UX teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Design, document, and maintain scalable, secure, and maintainable system architecture.
- Perform some hands-on coding, in partnership with BOSS API team & other application teams.
- Establish coding standards, best practices, and ensure code quality through reviews and mentoring.
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines and ensure code quality and security compliance.
- Collaborate with PMs and QA to align on delivery goals.
- Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- 8+ years of experience as a software developer or dev lead, with 3+ years of architecture experience.
- Experience building a POC (Proof of Concept) from scratch.
- Greenfield initiative support experience.
- Experience leading a team and suggesting potential solutions.
- Expertise and understanding of technical / integration aspects of design tools (e.g. Adobe, Canva), underlying data layers, and digital asset management solutions.
- Experience building APIs.
- Hands-on coding experience and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
