IT Support Specialist

Description

The IT Support Specialist provides on‑site technical support for a key facility in Eden Prairie.

Essential Functions

- Provide technical support for end users in person, over the phone, and via remote tools

- Deliver hands‑on support for shop floor and operational technology equipment

- Resolve issues directly or escalate following defined processes

- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software on IT and shop floor equipment

- Troubleshoot and escalate general hardware and software issues

- Image and enroll PCs according to corporate standards

- Perform basic Active Directory tasks such as password resets

- Provide training to end users on hardware and software

- Set up new employee PCs and support onboarding activities

- Manage Windows security settings and local vulnerabilities, act as onsite contact for cyber incident remediation

- Purchase and provision IT supplies as needed

- Assist users with local data backups

- Participate in IT audits and provide required documentation

- Work with third‑party vendors for proof‑of‑concepts, procurement, and issue resolution

- Provide remote‑hands support to regional and global level 2 and level 3 Infrastructure and Network Engineers

Requirements

- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

- Experience with Microsoft Windows and Active Directory administration

- Experience supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, and One Drive

- Experience configuring and maintaining Windows PCs, peripherals, and basic wireless network troubleshooting

- Experience with Entra

ID, Intune, and Service Now

- Two+ years of IT experience

- CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or equivalent certifications
