Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Analyst / Informatica ETL Developer to join our team. This is a hands‑on technical role responsible for designing, developing, and delivering robust ETL frameworks and components within a multi‑terabyte Oracle Exadata environment.
The role involves integrating public and private healthcare encounter and enrollment data from New York State (NYS) healthcare plans. Using Informatica tools, you will transform and synthesize data to support the management, evaluation, and analysis of the NYS healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica tools
- Source data from NYS healthcare plans and external systems
- Perform data staging, auditing, cleansing, enrichment, and transformation
- Load processed data into the NY All Payer Database (APD) reporting structures in Oracle
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Optimize performance within a large‑scale Oracle Exadata environment
- Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to support reporting and analytics needs
- Troubleshoot and resolve ETL and data-related issues
Strong hands‑on experience with the Informatica product suite, including:
- Power Center
- Test Data Manager
- Master Data Management (MDM)
- Metadata Manager
- Data Quality
Additional
Skills:
- Strong experience with Oracle / Oracle Exadata
- Experience working with large‑scale healthcare data (encounter & enrollment data preferred)
- Strong SQL and performance tuning skills
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices
- Experience with healthcare domain data (Medicaid/Medicare/NYS preferred)
- Experience working with state healthcare systems or All Payer Databases
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
