Data Analyst, IT QA Tester / Automation, Systems Analyst
Job Summary
We are looking for an EDI Solutions Quality Assurance Analyst to provide quality assurance testing of our trading partner integrations from end to end, working with our proprietary Medical Management System (MMS) and connecting it to various Claims systems via an EDI 278 integration in both Real‑Time and Batch mode.
Primary Responsibilities- Provide quality assurance and support of Programs/Products as assigned
- Facilitate the coordination of user acceptance testing efforts and defect resolution
- Create and execute test case scenarios for our EDI 278 authorization data integration services
- Log, track and summarize testing acceptance criteria results
- Perform implementation and regression testing activities as assigned
- Prepare and update program documentation, job aids, and other artifacts as requested
- May involve some interfacing with clients, managed care customers, IT resources and others when needed
- Assignment of special projects as needed
- 2+ Years of experience in each of the following:
- Solid knowledge and experience with user acceptance testing processes
- Experience with in the healthcare data environment – authorization, eligibility, provider, claims, etc.
- Healthcare EDI Transactions Knowledge and Experience
- Healthcare IT experience
- Experience with data mapping and workflow documentation.
- Experience with SQL (manipulating data and queries) – Relational databases like MySQL, MS SQL, DB2.
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.), Visio and Teams.
- Demonstrated ability to multi‑task in a very intensive Email, Teams Chat, Service Now Ticketing System and Meeting environment while continuously managing user acceptance testing activities.
- Experience working with cloud‑based solutions and services
- EDI 278 authorization data testing and validation experience
- Knowledgeable about claims billing practices and process management concepts, including CPT coding or reimbursement processes, 3rd‑party provider enrollments, claims submissions, EDI 278, HIPAA transactions and/or accounts receivables
- Demonstrated ability to read and write clear technical and functional specs for authorization data integration services
- Solid organization skills and attention to detail – this is a critical skill requirement.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with various levels of resources internally and externally.
- Required to have a dedicated work area separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Must have a high‑speed internet connection with very minimal disruptions in service
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full‑time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
