Data Analyst, Business Systems/ Tech Analyst, Data Science Manager
C.H Robinson is seeking a Principal Analytics Consultant who will lead high‑impact, customer‑facing analytics. The role focuses on translating data into actionable insights, telling stories through dashboards, and building relationships with commercial teams to drive decisions.
Responsibilities- Translate complex, multi‑source data (internal + external) into crisp stories, insights, and recommendations that accelerate customer growth, retention, and wallet share.
- Embed analytics at the front of the sales cycle to raise win rates and integrate insights into QBRs, strategic reviews, and value narratives.
- Build dashboards, indexes, scorecards, and repeatable playbooks that move teams from defensive reporting to offensive engagement.
- Serve as a front‑line liaison across customers, account teams, and analytics, translating business questions into analytical solutions and product enhancements.
- Capture the voice of the customer, prioritize enhancements, and contribute to product strategy that reflects market needs and emerging best practices.
- Deliver workshops, demos, and training, and curate “what to use when” libraries, case studies, and best practices.
- Combine internal ops data with industry signals (e.g., DAT, FTR, ACT, Statista) to craft market perspectives and thematic narratives customers can act on.
- Engage with strategic and high‑potential customers and participate in industry forums as a C.H. Robinson analytics voice.
- 6+ years in analytics, decision science, consulting, or insights roles.
- 2+ years’ experience delivering insights that influence deals, renewals, or account growth.
- 4+ years’ experience with data modeling concepts, BI practices, and scalability (tools‑agnostic; e.g., SQL/Power BI/Python/modern BI a plus).
- Familiarity with supply chain or transportation data.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead complex initiatives, balance both speed and rigor, and navigate ambiguity.
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative research.

Range: $93,400.00 – $ (base pay only; variable compensation not included).
