Project Scope / Components:
Plan Library is the name of the app – Product and Benefit administration platform. There is a core rules engine that rolls to the UI. These in the past were separate apps, they want to consolidate it.

This team will bring the UIs together and making the integrations closer and tighter

Ideate and Validate are in scope (see below)

Team Size & Breakdown: 1 team (12-16 month commitment) – Delivery Lead, SM, Tech Lead and Quality Lead are assigned…we want to add 6 people to work together for 12-16 months.

Development Methodology:
Agile – 2 weeks

Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools):

• Java / Springboot
• REST based Microservices
• Pipeline and Automation framework for testing – just need to have Junit testing experience
• Dev Ops skills – Git and Jenkins
• Security basics – Contrast is embedded and it runs alongside of the app…sits on the host and scans transactions and traffic. If it sees an attack, it stops it and they might need to work through the issue / do the stack trace to fix the problem (2-3 of our Srs should have Security experience, but not needed for all)
• Cloud – moving to Azure (2-3 of our Srs should have Azure, but not needed for all)
