EMR Platform Engineer
Location Eden MN, Remote Till Covid
Position Overview:The EMR Platform Engineer will serve as the primary technical specialist in integrating the EMR and clinical data into Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM. Help deliver the process for data transformation and data integrity associated with the integration and support optimization of system interfaces between business critical EMR/EHR systems and telemedicine/telehealth virtual visit solution offerings.
Ideal Background:- Experience working with EMR/EHR (clinical) systems centered around enterprise integration efforts following Agile and iterative processes
- Experience designing, developing, and testing with REST APIs (GET, POST, PATCH)
- Experience with SQL-based calls
- Experience developing software applications
- Experience with Postman and API development and implementation - min. 3 years
- Application coding experience with Microsoft related tools - min. 3 years
- Experience in iterative Agile SDLC driving product deliverability - min. 3 years
- Healthcare integration or healthcare workflow knowledge/experience
- Experience working with enterprise integration engines such as Rhapsody, Mirth, Iris, Cloverleaf, Ensemble, etc
- Experience working in HL7 version 2 or 3
- Experience working with FHIR resources
- Experience working with Master Patient Index or
Location:
Will start working remotely due to COVID restrictions. The candidate can either remain remote or return to the office once COVID restrictions are lifted.
Interview Process:
Our SME and tech lead will interview. How many rounds? 1. Video vs. phone? video. How technical will the interviews be? Fairly technical.
- Develop applications and flows in the Dynamics platform, based on functional specifications
- Unit test work products with Dynamics Powerapps, Dynamics CDS, and Postman
- Interact with technical team, Business Analyst and team delivery lead to analyze testing requirements in designing workflows and creating scripts which supporting EMR data integration
- Work closely with BA's and PM and builders to gather all the requirements and workflows for integration testing.
- Identify technical needs and constraints for data integration, along with upgrades and enhancements.
- Experience working with EMR/EHR systems centered around enterprise integration efforts following Agile and iterative processes
- Experience developing and testing with REST APIs (GET, POST, PATCH)
- Experience with SQL-based calls
- Experience and participation in information system implementations and the system development life cycle including requirements gathering and documentation, impact analysis, system configuration and quality assurance testing.
