Job Title
Key Responsibilities Implementation & Delivery Management Lead end-to-end delivery of the eCW/EHR implementation and upgrade effort, including planning, build, testing, training, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization. Develop and maintain the integrated project plan, work breakdown structure, milestones, and timelines; track progress against the plan and manage dependencies across work streams. Coordinate multi-site rollouts and phased go-lives, sequencing facilities to balance clinical readiness with organizational timelines.
Manage project budget, hours, and resource allocation; track actuals versus plan and report variances proactively.
Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination Serve as the primary point of coordination between SCA Health IT, clinical and operational leaders, facility staff, and the eClinical
Works vendor team. Facilitate discovery sessions, requirements reviews, status meetings, and steering updates; ensure clear, timely communication to all levels of the organization. Manage vendor deliverables, timelines, and accountability against contracted scope.
Risk, Issue & Change Management Identify, log, and actively manage risks and issues; drive resolution and escalate appropriately with recommended options. Manage scope and change control, ensuring changes are documented, assessed, and approved before implementation. Coordinate cutover planning, go-live command center support, and rapid issue triage during and immediately after go-live.
Clinical Readiness, Training & Documentation Partner with clinical and operational leads to ensure workflow readiness, end-user training, and adoption are planned and delivered ahead of each go-live. Maintain organized project documentation, including status reports, decision logs, risk/issue registers, and go-live readiness checklists. Ensure all activities align with HIPAA and applicable healthcare compliance, security, and data-privacy requirements.
Required Qualifications 5+ years of project management experience, with a strong track record delivering healthcare IT and/or EHR implementation projects. Direct, hands-on experience implementing or upgrading eClinical
Works (eCW). Experience with comparable EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner, athenahealth, Next Gen) will be considered. Demonstrated ability to manage full project life cycles – scope, schedule, budget, risk, and resources – across multiple concurrent work streams or sites. Experience coordinating clinical, operational, technical, and third-party vendor stakeholders in a fast-paced delivery environment. Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical operations, and the compliance environment (HIPAA).
Excellent communication, organization, and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate technical detail into clear, business-friendly updates for executives and front-line staff alike. Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and the Microsoft 365 suite).
