Required Skills & Experience Must Haves:
Epic Radiant Certification. 3+ years of Epic Radiant build, support, and optimization experience. Strong experience supporting radiology and imaging workflows. Experience working Service Now incidents, requests, and production support tickets. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Experience supporting large healthcare organizations or integrated delivery networks. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience Nice to Haves:
Experience supporting Epic Refuel initiatives. Radiology protocol build and implementation experience. Experience supporting imaging departments and radiology operations. Experience removing custom workflows and aligning to Epic foundation functionality. Knowledge of additional Epic applications and integrations.
Job Description:
Optum is seeking an experienced Epic Radiant Analyst to support a large-scale initiative. This resource will primarily focus on the Refuel Project, an enterprise effort aimed at removing historical custom code and aligning workflows with current Epic standards. The analyst will also support protocol implementation initiatives, Radiant enhancement requests, and a backlog of existing projects and support activities.
This role requires a strong blend of Epic Radiant application expertise, workflow optimization, production support experience, and stakeholder collaboration. The analyst will work closely with operational teams, application teams, and project leadership to enhance radiology workflows and support ongoing initiatives across the organization.
Day to Day/Responsibilities:
Support the Epic Radiant application and associated radiology workflows. Lead and participate in activities related to the Refuel Project and workflow standardization efforts. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Service Now incidents and support tickets. Support implementation and optimization of radiology protocols and imaging workflows. Partner with operational stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver application enhancements. Work through backlog items, Sherlock investigations, and project-related requests.
Participate in testing, validation, production support, and application maintenance activities. Document solutions, workflow changes, and system enhancements. Collaborate with cross-functional Epic teams to support enterprise initiatives. Provide occasional non-prime support coverage during designated on-call rotations.
Additional Details:
Resource may be flexed to additional Epic Platform Program (EPP) initiatives if project demand fluctuates. Non-prime support rotation may include evenings (5 PM to 7 AM), weekends, holidays, and periodic after-hours coverage. Typical non-prime rotation is one week at a time, with varying ticket volume.
