We are looking for a talented Senior Business Analyst who will support our global initiatives.As the Senior Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, design effective solutions, and collaborate closely with development teams to enhance and maintain .NET applications and APIs built on a SQL Server backend. The ideal candidate will bring knowledge of payment processing and work with SSRS reports, SSIS packages, while leveraging tools such as Jira, Confluence, and visual diagramming platforms to manage and document workflows.
Responsibilities- Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requests into detailed business requirements user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Produce clear, detailed functional and technical specifications tailored to the development team.
- Create comprehensive requirements and test conditions for the QA department, ensuring full coverage for manual and automated testing efforts.
- Create process flows, data models, and system diagrams using visual diagramming tools.
- Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements to optimize payment workflows.
- Technical Collaboration
- Work directly with .NET developers and architects, QA engineers, DBAs, and product managers to ensure alignment of requirements and delivery.
- Participate in technical discussions around system design, integration considerations, and data flow mapping.
- Support UAT by clarifying requirements, analyzing defects, and validating system changes.
- Provide daily support for existing production .NET client and web applications and payment processing APIs
- Develop and manage SSIS packages for data transformation and reporting needs.
- SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) report writing or familiarity is a strong plus, including modifying or validating report outputs.
- Work with technical resources to ensure reporting requirements are accurately implemented.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout project life cycles.
- Develop process flows, workflow diagrams, and system documentation.
- Utilize Jira for backlog management and sprint planning; maintain documentation in Confluence and Microsoft Loop.
- Track issues, risks, dependencies, and project status, communicating effectively across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or computer technology. In lieu of a degree you must have a comparable number of years of practical experience.
- 5 plus years working in a quality assurance or business analyst role
- Proficient with queries stored procedures, and relational database structures in SQL Server.
- Experience in writing clear requirements for QA teams, including test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
- Experience gathering requirements for custom software development projects.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and diagramming tools
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum preferred).
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Strong experience with SSRS report creation or modification.
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops, Jira, or similar work management tools.
- Proficiency with SSIS package design and deployment
- Exposure to APIs, system integrations, or enterprise architecture.
- Familiarity with reporting/BI tools such as Power BI or SSRS
- Regularly required to sit and work at a computer station, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
