Agropur is seeking a Director, Commercial Strategy to shape and lead the long‑term growth agenda for its global Ingredient Division
. This role is a senior commercial leadership position responsible for defining strategic direction, guiding portfolio and go‑to‑market priorities, and strengthening Agropur’s position as a premium ingredient partner worldwide.
Reporting to the VP, Growth & Commercial Strategy
, the Director will serve as a key thought partner to senior leadership and a central connector across Strategy, Sales, Marketing, Innovation, Operations, and Finance.

- Salary range 008: $153,700 - $192,100 (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position)
- Set the commercial vision and strategic priorities for Agropur’s Ingredients business
- Drive portfolio direction, pricing strategy, and market focus across categories
- Ensure disciplined go‑to‑market execution and premium positioning globally
- Translate strategy into clear choices, alignment, and measurable results
- Influence enterprise decisions through strong commercial insight and storytelling
The role balances strategic leadership with select customer and market engagement, ensuring commercial strategy remains grounded in real market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities- Define and execute the long‑term commercial strategy for the Ingredient Division
- Guide category, portfolio, and pricing strategy to maximize value and profitability
- Shape go‑to‑market frameworks and commercial narratives across nutrition segments
- Partner with Innovation to align the pipeline with market and customer needs
- Lead brand and marketing strategy to reinforce Agropur’s premium positioning
- Act as a senior integrator across functions, resolving trade‑offs and setting priorities
- Develop and lead high‑performing commercial and marketing talent
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in commercial strategy, business development, or category leadership
- Strong background in ingredients, nutrition, dairy, food, or life sciences
- Proven success shaping portfolio strategy, pricing, and go‑to‑market models
- Experience influencing executive leadership and leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial judgment and executive presence
