Packager-2nd Shift

Second Shift Position:
Monday – Thursday 4:15 pm to 2:45 am. Starting pay is $19 per hour with a $1.25 shift differential.

• Pack sandwiches in bun trays and corrugated boxes at designated line speeds.
• Play an active role in the Company’s Lean initiative.
• Promote a friendly and positive work environment and maintain a good attendance record.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, GMPs, standard work, and safety practices.
• Execute food safety, quality, and continuous improvement activities to support SQF and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Rotate all positions on a 30‑minute basis and follow all standard work.
• Perform tasks specific to box maker, boxer, and racker roles.
• Complete paperwork and turn it in after each period to the Pack‑off Lead.

• Previous assembly line experience in a high‑speed packaging environment.
• Basic math skills and ability to read/write in English.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs, work on feet all day, and perform bending, twisting, turning, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead.
• Must be flexible to work a variable schedule, including occasional weekends.
• Preferred:
  Food‑related experience.
• Must be comfortable working in cool temperatures (35 to 45 °F).

• Dollies, racks, bun trays, boxes (cases), pallets, tapers.
• Box/Case coder, label/box‑making stand, palletizing T‑bar tool, cardboard baler, compactor, stretch wrap.
• Cutting utensils (knife, scissors).
• Personal Protective Equipment: hard hat, gloves, protective gear as required.
