Shift DetailsSecond Shift Position:
Monday – Thursday 4:15 pm to 2:45 am. Starting pay is $19 per hour with a $1.25 shift differential.
- Pack sandwiches in bun trays and corrugated boxes at designated line speeds.
- Play an active role in the Company’s Lean initiative.
- Promote a friendly and positive work environment and maintain a good attendance record.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, GMPs, standard work, and safety practices.
- Execute food safety, quality, and continuous improvement activities to support SQF and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Rotate all positions on a 30‑minute basis and follow all standard work.
- Perform tasks specific to box maker, boxer, and racker roles.
- Complete paperwork and turn it in after each period to the Pack‑off Lead.
- Previous assembly line experience in a high‑speed packaging environment.
- Basic math skills and ability to read/write in English.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs, work on feet all day, and perform bending, twisting, turning, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead.
- Must be flexible to work a variable schedule, including occasional weekends.
- Preferred:
Food‑related experience. - Must be comfortable working in cool temperatures (35 to 45 °F).
- Dollies, racks, bun trays, boxes (cases), pallets, tapers.
- Box/Case coder, label/box‑making stand, palletizing T‑bar tool, cardboard baler, compactor, stretch wrap.
- Cutting utensils (knife, scissors).
- Personal Protective Equipment: hard hat, gloves, protective gear as required.
