Position: 100% Outpatient | Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitoner (PMHNP) | Child and Adolescent

Zarminali Pediatrics is seeking a compassionate Pediatric focused Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Eden Prairie or Edina, Minnesota. This role is embedded within our integrative primary care model, partnering closely with pediatricians, behavioral health clinicians, and families to deliver coordinated, child-centered mental health care. The PMHNP will play a critical role in diagnostic evaluation, medication management, and advancing comprehensive, team-based behavioral health services.

WHAT YOULL DO

As a Nurse Practitioner at Zarminali, you will focus on:

  • Psychiatric Evaluation & Treatment:
    Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans, including psychopharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions.
  • Medication Management:
    Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications in collaboration with families and the integrated care team.
  • Patient Population:
    Provide care primarily to patients ages 5-18
  • Whole-Child Mental Health:
    Support emotional, behavioral, and developmental wellbeing through early identification, evidence-based psychiatric care, and prevention-focused interventions.
  • Family Engagement &

    Education:

    Partner with caregivers to provide education, guidance, and shared decision-making around diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with pediatricians, behavioral health clinicians, and multispecialty partners to deliver coordinated, integrated, and holistic care.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
    Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory, legal, and organizational standards.

WHAT YOULL NEED

  • Active MN APRN license
  • ANCC Board Certification
  • Current and unrestricted APRN license in Minnesota
  • DEA license
  • Experience evaluating and treating pediatric psychiatric conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, behavioral disorders, trauma, and adjustment concerns
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, integrated care setting that values coordination between physical and behavioral health
