Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN) to support employees across two Minnesota locations: a manufacturing facility in Eden Prairie and an R&D office in Eagan. This role is responsible for providing occupational health services, injury management, wellness programming, medical surveillance, and leave administration support throughout the employee lifecycle.
Schedule & Work Details- Location: Primarily onsite in Eden Prairie, MN with regular support at the Eagan, MN location
- Typical Schedule: Core business hours, Monday-Friday

Required:
Occasional schedule adjustments may be needed to support manufacturing operations, including meeting with employees coming off alternate shifts - Travel: Local travel between sites as business needs require (approximately 4 days/week in Eden Prairie and 1 day/week in Eagan, subject to business need)
- Work Environment: Independent onsite nurse with support from local emergency response teams
- Pay Rate: $55.00 - $57.00 per hour
- Long Term Contract
- Provide occupational health nursing services for employees across multiple locations.
- Deliver first aid assessment, treatment, and triage for workplace injuries and illnesses.
- Manage and coordinate employee disability and leave programs, including:
- Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
- Short-Term Disability (STD)
- Workers' Compensation
- Collaborate with Safety and leadership teams to support injury management and return-to-work programs.
- Conduct health assessments and provide recommendations regarding employee health concerns.
- Support and administer medical surveillance programs, including hearing conservation and other occupational health initiatives.
- Develop, coordinate, and promote employee wellness programs and activities such as:
- Wellness challenges
- Walking programs
- Blood drives
- Health education campaigns
- Community wellness initiatives
- Identify site-specific health and wellness needs and implement appropriate programs and educational initiatives.
- Create and deliver employee health education, training materials, and presentations.
- Serve as a trusted resource to employees and management regarding occupational health matters.
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with emergency response teams and external healthcare providers as needed.
- Share best practices and provide clinical expertise within the occupational health team.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota in good standing.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong clinical assessment and first aid skills.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
- Ability to travel locally between assigned sites.
- Compact nursing license.
- Previous Occupational Health Nursing experience.
- Experience managing FMLA, Short-Term Disability, Workers' Compensation, and return-to-work programs.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, corporate, public health, school nursing, emergency room, or occupational health environments.
- Knowledge of medical surveillance and hearing conservation programs.
- Experience developing and delivering educational presentations and training programs.
- Understanding of adult learning principles.
- Experience promoting employee wellness and engagement initiatives.
- Membership in relevant professional organizations (e.g., AAOHN, AVA, INS) preferred.
