Facilities Engineer - Eden Prairie

The Facilities Engineer supports the Facilities Division to ensure smooth operations of the mechanical, electrical, and facilities safety equipment for City buildings. Two-year technical degree in related field is required. Minimum of five years of experience with industrial and residential refrigeration, HVAC, boilers, pool operation is preferred. Experience in building construction, repair, and maintenance of systems and equipment is preferred. Ammonia refrigeration experience is preferred.

Experience in HVAC, cooling towers, energy management, electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, boilers, chillers, plumbing, fire/safety equipment, pneumatic controls, and reading blueprints is required. Second Class C boiler's license is required. First Class C boiler's license or must obtain within 3 years of employment is required. Certified Pool Operator license or must obtain within first 12 months of employment is required. Position requires incumbent to work on ladders and on roofs.

Position requires incumbent to work with water treatment chemicals. Universal Refrigeration license is required.
