POSITION: Day Maintenance

LOCATION: Eden Prairie High School

RATE OF PAY: $34.17/hr per the  rate

HOURS PER DAY: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week

START & ENDING TIME: 7:00am - 3:30pm

WORKING DAYS PER YEAR: 260

PAID TIME OFF:

• 12 paid Holidays
• 10 paid Vacation days
• 1 paid Personal day
• 12 paid Sick days

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 yr. post-secondary training in building trades preferred.
• Ability to obtain bus driver's license by end of probationary period.
• 1st Class C Boilers license or ability to obtain within probationary period.
• Ability to obtain 2nd Class B boiler license within the 16 month allowance.
• Three years' experience in maintenance or equivalent in building service in other institutions/firms.
• Expertise in techniques of electrical repair, carpentry, and heating systems.
• Ability to comprehend all operating instructions, blue prints, and written reports.
• Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to set priorities, manage and supervise multiple tasks.
• Ability to meet the public & communicate with students

BOILER'S LICENSE INFORMATION
:

To be considered for this position, applicants must have, at minimum, a Special Engineer's License.

TESTING

REQUIRED:

All job offers from Eden Prairie Schools are conditioned upon passing a pre-employment criminal background check and ISD 272 School Board approval. Offers for these positions will also be conditioned upon passing a pre-employment physical abilities test.
