Job Responsibilities
- Apply technical skills with formal training and moderate experience to develop software.
- Choose between alternative proven techniques, incorporating originality and moderate technical risk.
- Develop software using prior work and state‑of‑the‑art techniques.
- Conduct simple software investigations and tests.
- Work with detailed project plans and schedules that may exceed several months.
- Participate in the formation of project schedule.
- Help plan for availability of needed capital equipment.
- Interact on a regular basis with other functional groups and customers on technical matters.
- Work with outside consultants and experts.
- Interact with other functional groups in various support roles.
- Administer technical procedures.
- Maintain a record of all software development activity.
- Prepare various project‑related reports including Software Specification and Software Design reports.
- Collaborate with other engineers to develop automated solutions to business problems.
- Work with product test managers and engineering teams to deliver automated solutions that meet the needs of a dynamic organization.
- Participate in design discussions within cross‑functional teams.
- Document test processes and communicate results to key product stakeholders.
- Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
- Master's Degree desired.
- Minimum Experience:
- Proficiency in object‑oriented principles and design.
- Innovative mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment.
- Knowledge / Technical Requirements:
- Proficiency in object‑oriented development concepts.
- Working knowledge of .NET/C#.
- Experience with Java and Kotlin.
- Experience with Swift and Objective‑C.
- Experience with Type Script, JavaScript libraries (Angular JS).
- Competencies, Skills & Abilities:
- Good organizational skills.
- Good written and verbal skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good technical writing skills.
- Minimum Qualifications (Entry‑Level):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Proficiency in an object‑oriented programming language (e.g., Java or C#).
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous professional or internship experience on a software development team.
- Experience with mobile, desktop, or web automation frameworks such as Appium or Selenium.
- Experience with C# or .NET object‑oriented programming.
- Target pay: $66,220 – $90,000 annually (based on geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications).
- Eligible for a performance‑based bonus.
