Project Scope / Components:

• Migration & modernization project moving from Java to Node & from on-prem to Azure

High-Level Individual Duties:

• Building pipelines in Azure
• Full stack development using Type Script and Node
• Build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins

Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools):

• Mid to Mid-Senior level – 4+ years of experience
• Type Script and Node
• Azure – understand serverless functions and be able to build pipelines
• CI/CD – Jenkins

Nice to Haves:

• Java development experience – OG application is in Java so would be helpful to understand the existing codebase
• Terraform – will be using for IaC

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and continuously improve software
• Translate product concepts into project commitments that deliver incremental value to our customers frequently and with high quality

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of coding experience with one or more of the following languages Java, C#, C/C++, Go, Python or JavaScript with a willingness and ability to learn new ones
• Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals: unit testing, code reviews, telemetry, agile and Dev Ops
• Experience working with at least one of the following: continuous integration / continuous delivery tools, REST API development, serverless architecture, containerization, IaC, public / private cloud, application observability and/or messaging / stream architecture
• Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of distributed architecture design principles
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments
• Experience implementing large-scale/high performance componentized web applications across multiple technology domains
• Experience with Azure and IaC(Terraform/Ansible)

Required Skills:
