Position SummaryWant to spend your internship building real software for real products-not just working on a side project that disappears when the summer ends? We’re looking for people who like building things, enjoy figuring out how things work, aren’t afraid to ask questions, and want to become better software engineers.
Bracco Medical Technologies (BMT) is looking for three Software Engineering Interns to join our software development team. You’ll be matched with a project based on your skills, interests, and the technologies you want to explore, working in either our Injector (device) or Digital Health focus areas.
You’ll work alongside experienced software engineers and contribute to software that supports medical technology used in the real world. Depending on your project, you could be writing production code, building features, solving bugs, debugging systems, creating automated tests, improving user experiences, or developing tools that make our products better.
This isn’t just about watching how software gets built. You’ll be part of the team building it. Along the way, you will experience the software development lifecycle firsthand-from designing and coding to testing, documentation, code reviews, and getting software ready for release.
Injector (device)Want to write software that interacts with an actual physical device?
Our Injector team develops software for our medical devices and the infrastructure that supports them. You’ll have the opportunity to work on software where code meets hardware‑building and improving features that users can actually see and interact with.
Primary technologies: C# / WPF
Digital HealthInterested in connected products, servers, and modern software platforms?
Our Digital Health team develops server‑based solutions that connect our products and help information move securely between systems. You’ll get exposure to the software and services behind connected medical technology.
Primary technologies: C# / Type Script
Training to be ProvidedWe don’t expect you to arrive knowing how to build medical‑device software. That’s part of what you’ll learn here.
You’ll work with engineers and other teams across BMT to see how software goes from an idea to a product used in the real world. You’ll learn what it means to develop software in a regulated industry where quality, reliability, cybersecurity, testing, and good engineering practices actually matter.
Training may include medical‑device development processes, BMT products and technologies, software development practices, testing, documentation, and the tools our engineering teams use every…
