Flex Medical Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, X‑rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and other related materials.
• Use a hand‑held scanning device to accurately track items throughout the transportation cycle.
• Strictly observe operating policies, procedures, and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction.
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe, courteous driving behavior and maintain clean, orderly vehicle conditions.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Adapt routes based on client and business needs; perform all duties across routes as assigned, with possible assignment changes.
• Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation, and adaptability with teammates and clients.
• Build and nurture a collaborative Med Speed team culture.

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum 19 years of age with an active driver’s license maintained for at least 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability, reliability, and ability to follow procedures closely.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Must pass initial and random drug and alcohol screening.
• Operate company vehicles equipped with dash‑cam recording systems, understanding that video may be captured while operating the vehicle.
• Drive a non‑commercial vehicle throughout the shift on various roads and in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent driving history, with all required safety records acceptable.
• Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination, subject to local mandates.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to lift items off storage racks and handle varying item weights and physical demands throughout the shift.
• Comfortable walking long distances and standing for extended periods.
