Excellent opportunity in a community practice located in northern-central, North Carolina (just north of Greensboro).

• Medical Director for Hematology/Oncology services at UNC Cancer Care at Rockingham
• Board Certified Hematologist/Oncologist in ambulatory clinic, Monday‑Friday (8 am‑5 pm)
• Full‑time, 1.0 FTE
• Infusion services on‑site requiring supervision, pharmacy on‑site for sterile compounding
• Shared evening and weekend call (virtual, not requiring physical presence on‑site)
• Excellent clinic staff and leadership support provided by UNC Hospitals, North Carolina Cancer Hospital
• UNC Medical Group‑employed position embedded at a UNC Cancer Hospital in Eden, NC

UNC Cancer Care at Rockingham – a service of UNC Hospitals located on the campus of UNC Health Rockingham. It offers medical oncology, infusion, and radiation oncology services, with many additional services at neighboring UNC Rockingham Health Care. The ability to receive care locally is a convenience and comfort for patients and their families.

UNC Health Rockingham is a 108‑bed community hospital in Eden, NC dedicated to preserving excellent and compassionate care close to home. It joined the UNC family in 2018 and serves residents of Rockingham, Guilford, Caswell, Pittsylvania and Henry counties.

UNC Health Medical Group (UNCHMG) has more than 90 practices and over 300 providers throughout the state, providing a full range of primary care and specialty services to patients in 14 counties across North Carolina. Operational support helps each practice deliver comprehensive care, making the UNC Health Care system’s expertise available to more people in the state.

UNC Cancer Care Rockingham and its affiliates are located in Eden, NC. Eden is a town of approximately 15 000 residents in Rockingham County in the Piedmont Region. The area offers rivers, lakes, state parks, a nostalgic drive‑in theatre, restaurants, wineries and breweries. Those in the Piedmont Triad region of central NC are just two hours from the NC Mountains and three hours to the coastal area.
