RE-ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY OF EDEN
EDEN, NORTH CAROLINA
KINGS HIGHWAY OUTFALL REHABILITATION GENERAL NOTICE

The City of Eden (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

The Owner did not receive three (3) bids for the Kings Highway Outfall Rehabilitation on July 23rd, 2026. The received bid(s) were not opened nor read aloud, and the project is being re-bid. Per NCGS 143-132, the City is allowed to open bids at the next bid opening regardless of the number of bids submitted. The previous Contract documents along with issued Addenda #1 and #2 are still valid, and can be requested per information below.

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at City Hall located at 308 East Stadium Drive, Eden, NC
, until Tuesday, August 11th at 2 pm local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project includes the following Work:

The City of Eden Kings Highway Outfall Rehabilitation project involves the following:

• First Mobilization:
  Installation of traffic control, NASSCO Level condition assessment manhole survey for 8 Manholes (MH) along Kings Highway, MH and gravity sewer (GS) cleaning and flushing for 8 Manholes and 2,158 linear feet (LF), pre-construction CCTV inspection of 2,158 LF of GS, and CCTV inspection of 1,750 LF of an inactive sanitary force main (FM)

• Second Mobilization:
  The installation of approximately 2,158 LF of Ultraviolet Light (UV) or Thermal Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) liner for 15-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), approximately 18 LF of point repair replacement of a 15-inch RCP, MH rehabilitation of 3 separate MHs located within the NCDOT right-of-way (ROW), and bypass pumping.

All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through email. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from other sources.

No pre-bid conference will take place.
