Next Care Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Eden, NC clinic in a full-time role.
OverviewNext Care is one of the largest urgent care organizations in the country, operating over 165 clinics across 11 states. Our model is primarily urgent care with a small occupational medicine component and is designed to support provider autonomy, efficiency, and high-quality patient care.
Position Details- Full-time schedule: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
- Clinic hours typically 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, including rotating weekends
- Assigned home clinic with opportunity to support nearby locations as needed
- Evaluate and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
- Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and injuries
- Perform common urgent care procedures including suturing, wound care, splinting, and I&Ds
- Interpret X-rays, EKGs, and labs
- Provide clear treatment plans and follow-up instructions
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining clinical efficiency
- Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina (or eligible)
- Minimum 1–2 years of urgent care or emergency medicine experience required
- No new graduates at this time
- Comfortable practicing independently in a fast-paced environment
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- DOT certification preferred (or willingness to obtain; training provided)
- BLS required
