Position Summary

Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family, shaping the future of health care for people, businesses, and communities. With your talent and expertise, you help positively impact millions—one customer at a time.

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving potential service issues.
• Focus on the customer by giving a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating additional items when needed.
• Accurately perform cashier duties—handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision while following company policies and procedures.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Support opening and closing store activities when needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments (e.g., photo and beauty), ensuring they are fully stocked and operational while staying current with updated services and tools.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of opportunities for growth and career development.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our purpose of helping people on their path to better health.

• At least 16 years of age.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Remain upright on feet during sustained periods of time.
  • Lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly.
  • Have visual acuity sufficient for viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts/details.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.

High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Anticipated weekly hours: 12. Time type:
Part time.

Pay Range: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour.
