Full Time Pay Rate: $18.30 / Hour

- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an educational location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate campus resources and/or emergency services.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, walkways, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or hazardous conditions to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation; maintain professional communication with site leadership and Allied Universal management.
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
