Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

$1000 Sign on Bonus

If you start within 30 days of your offer letter, the bonus is paid out after 90 days of consecutive employment.

• Formalize lesson plans on a weekly basis for the upcoming instructional period.
• Relate instructional objectives to curriculum standards and demonstrate effective decision‑making concerning instructional goals.
• Determine students’ performance using both informal and formal assessments and observations.
• Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in the program.
• Use a variety of instructional materials, including contextual, supplemental, teacher‑constructed, teaching bulletin boards, audio‑visual aids, hands‑on activities, discovery‑based learning, and activity‑based learning.
• Maintain accurate and timely educational assessments and progress notes for all assigned students.
• Train and supervise a teacher assistant within the classroom.
• Meet with parents throughout the year to discuss the child’s progress.
• Attend Open House, Back to School Night, Teacher In‑Service days, and all weekly staff meetings and teacher curriculum meetings.

Apple Montessori Schools is an IACET Accredited Provider and offers IACET CEUs for its learning events that comply with the ANSI/IACET Continuing Education and Training Standard.

• Bachelor’s Degree required (Elementary Education preferred).
• Montessori Experience preferred.
• NAMC, preferred or willing to obtain within first year of employment.
• Ability to communicate with parents effectively and professionally.
• Experience with lesson planning and development.
• Ability to multitask and function in an ever‑changing environment.

$40,000 – $48,000 per year.

Final compensation is determined based on factors such as years of experience in a similar role, relevant certifications and/or credentials, and the size and/or geographic location of the school.
