Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Customer Service Rep, Retail Sales
We’re looking for a Licensed Optician to deliver our brand value proposition and help establish Lens Crafters as the premier destination for all vision needs within the community.
MajorDuties & Responsibilities
- Welcome all customers and set expectations with them
- Custom‑fit glasses and place prescriptions precisely in lenses
- Act as a leader in optical acumen
- Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring the finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs
- Assist the team with complex product needs and prescriptions
- Use technology accurately and efficiently, even under time pressure, and maintain exceptional product knowledge with appropriate tools
- Be proactive, explore root causes of issues, forward‑think, and ensure customers are satisfied and expectations exceeded, driving solutions
- Multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities
- Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies
- Take pride in store appearance, keeping the store clean, attractive, and organized
- Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices
- Be resourceful, self‑motivated with a desire for continual learning, improvement, and results
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management
- High school graduate or equivalent
- State licensure
- Optical dispensing experience
- Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder
- Knowledge of current store merchandise
- Strong basic math skills
- Awareness of current fashion trends
- Selling skills – ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet
- Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators
- Embrace new technology and change
Pay Range: 25.02 – 39.02
