About PFCBI
Parents for Children’s Best Interests (PFCBI) is a nonprofit dedicated to advocating for children’s safety while ensuring meaningful access to both parents and extended families. Role OverviewThe Website Manager (Word Press) will maintain and enhance PFCBI’s website to ensure it is up-to-date, accessible, secure, and user-friendly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys applying technical skills to support a nonprofit mission and make a direct impact in the lives of families.
Key Responsibilities- Website updates, 5 hours per week initially then 1-2 hours to maintain
- Oversee website maintenance, updates, and performance
- Design and implement new features, pages, and functionality aligned with organizational needs
- Ensure the website remains secure, responsive, and accessible on all devices
- Research and recommend relevant content that supports PFCBI’s mission and assists families in finding information
- Create and integrate fillable online forms for client intake and program submissions
- Work with PDF documents, Microsoft Word, and Gmail to manage website content and communications
- Collaborate with staff and volunteers to improve user experience and digital presence
- Provide recommendations for ongoing website improvements, integrations, and digital tools
Age: 18+ years
1+ year of experience with Word Press and website management; familiarity with themes, plugins, updates, and troubleshooting; ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a small team.

Your work will help families access critical resources and support during challenging legal transitions. You will directly impact the lives of children, parents and extended families while gaining hands‑on experience in nonprofit digital communications and website development. This is a flexible hybrid role with opportunities for growth, collaboration, and meaningful contribution within a mission‑driven team.
Additional Information- A background screening may be required before onboarding. Screening results do not automatically disqualify an applicant; final decisions are made at the discretion of PFCBI leadership.
